Academy & Lessons
The Craigielaw Golf Academy designed by Donald Steel & Co. provides golfers with a high quality practice facility where play is always from grass with high quality golf balls. With 6500 square meters of teeing area, practice bunkers and mounds similar to those found on the course, golfers have the opportunity to fine tune the part of their game that needs improving.
The South Links is a short course designed by Donald Steele & Co. which gives Craigielaw members of all ages an area to practice their short game and understand the rules and etiquette in a quiet and enjoyable environment. The South Links mirrors the main course and offers a realistic and worthwhile challenge to golfers of all abilities.
The Academy is run by our Director of Golf Jonathan Porteous. Jonathan and the Pro Shop team are on hand to give advice on practicing effectively and coaching options. Below is a price list and examples of coaching available.

Short Game Package
This package is the quickest and easiest way to improve your scores and will be tailored to suit individuals requirements. It includes:
- Wedge Play
- Chipping
- Bunker Play
- FREE Wedge analysis
- FREE Ball Fitting
- 2 x 45 minute sessions with Titleist golf balls

Trackman Performance Lessons
Understand your habits like swing path, where your face direction is at impact, your angle of attack, too steep or shallow.
